1. Processing & Shipping Times
Processing Time:
- Orders placed before 2pm EST (Monday-Friday): Process in 1-2 business day
- Orders placed after 2pm EST: Ship next business day
- Weekend orders (Saturday-Sunday): Ship Monday
- Holiday orders: Ship next business day after holiday
We do not ship on major U.S. holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day (July 4)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
Domestic Shipping (United States)
Free Shipping:
- Threshold: Orders $25 or more qualify for FREE Standard Shipping
- Applies to: USA addresses only
- Automatic: Discount applied automatically at checkout when order total reaches $25+
- Cannot be combined with: Other shipping promotions (unless specified)
International Shipping
Countries We Ship To:
- WorldWide

Important Notes for International Orders:
- Customs Fees: Customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by destination country
- Customs Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing
- Address Accuracy: Ensure your address is correct and complete (including postal codes)
- No Free Shipping: Free shipping threshold does not apply to international orders
3. Shipping Addresses
Accepted Address Types
We ship to:
- ✓ Residential addresses
- ✓ Business addresses
- ✓ PO Boxes (standard shipping only)
- ✓ APO/FPO/DPO addresses (military)
- ✓ Hotels (if staying temporarily)
Note: Express and Priority shipping may not be available for PO Boxes or military addresses.
Address Requirements
Before you place your order, please verify:
- Street address is complete and accurate
- Apartment/unit numbers are included (if applicable)
- City, state, and ZIP code are correct
- Phone number is valid (for carrier contact if needed)
We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Address Changes
Before shipment (within 24 hours of ordering): Email Contact@safekidspath.com immediately with your order number and corrected address. We'll update it if we haven't shipped yet.
After shipment: We cannot change the address once the carrier has the package. You'll need to:
- Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number
- Request an address change or hold for pickup (not all carriers allow this)
Returned packages due to incorrect address: If your package is returned to us because the address you provided was incorrect, you'll be responsible for re-shipping costs.
4. Shipping to Multiple Addresses
Can I ship one order to multiple addresses? No. Each shipping address requires a separate order.
Example: If you want to send box sets to 3 different addresses (your home, grandparents, and a friend), you'll need to place 3 separate orders.
Tip: You can use the same billing information for all orders, just change the shipping address for each.
5. Order Tracking
When You'll Receive Tracking
- Order Confirmation: Sent immediately after purchase (no tracking yet)
- Shipping Confirmation: Sent within 24 hours of shipment with tracking number
- Delivery Updates: Sent automatically by carrier
How to Track Your Order
Option 1: Email Link Click the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.
Option 2: Carrier Website Visit the carrier's website (USPS.com, UPS.com, or FedEx.com) and enter your tracking number.
Option 3: Your Account (if you created one) Log in to your Safe Kids Path account and view order status.
Tracking Not Working?
If tracking shows "Label Created" or "Pre-Shipment": This means the carrier has received shipping information but doesn't have the package yet. Wait 24-48 hours for the carrier to scan the package.
If tracking hasn't updated in 3+ days: Contact us at Contact@safekidspath.com with your order number. We'll investigate.
If tracking email went to spam: Check your spam/junk folder for emails from Contact@safekidspath.com or noreply@safekidspath.com.
6. Delivery
Signature Requirements
- Standard & Priority: No signature required (left at door)
- Express: Signature may be required (varies by carrier)
- High-Value Orders: Signature may be required at our discretion
Want signature confirmation? Contact us before ordering. Additional fees may apply.
Delivery Locations
Carriers typically deliver to:
- Your front door or porch
- Mailbox (for small packages)
- Building mail room (for apartments)
- Front desk (for businesses)
Specific delivery instructions? Some carriers allow you to add instructions via their website using your tracking number.
What If I'm Not Home?
- USPS: Usually leaves package at door or mailbox
- UPS/FedEx: Leaves package at door or leaves delivery notice
- Signature required: Carrier will leave notice with pickup instructions
Missed delivery?
- Follow instructions on delivery notice
- Contact carrier to schedule redelivery
- Request "Hold for Pickup" at carrier location
7. Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages
Package Shows "Delivered" But I Don't Have It
First steps:
- Check all possible delivery locations (front/back door, porch, garage, mailbox)
- Ask neighbors or household members
- Check with building management (apartments/condos)
- Wait 24 hours (carriers sometimes mark "delivered" early)
- Check the tracking photo (some carriers take delivery photos)
Still missing after 24 hours? Contact us at Contact@safekidspath.com with:
- Your order number
- Tracking number
- Confirmation you've checked all locations
We'll help you:
- File a claim with the carrier
- Investigate the delivery
- Send a replacement or issue refund (at our discretion)
Stolen Packages (Porch Pirates)
We are not responsible for packages stolen after delivery. However, we want to help.
Prevention tips:
- Ship to your workplace
- Require signature confirmation
- Install doorbell camera
- Request "Hold for Pickup" at carrier facility
- Have a trusted neighbor receive packages
If your package was stolen:
- File a police report (for insurance purposes)
- Contact us at Contact@safekidspath.com
- We'll review on a case-by-case basis and work with you to find a resolution
8. Damaged Packages
If your package arrives visibly damaged:
Step 1: Take photos immediately
- Damaged shipping box (all sides)
- Damaged products inside
- Close-ups of specific damage
Step 2: Inspect contents Open carefully and check all items for damage.
Step 3: Contact us within 7 days Email Contact@safekidspath.com with:
- Order number
- Photos of damage
- Description of damage
We'll send a replacement immediately (usually same-day or next-day shipping).

9. Shipping Delays
What Can Cause Delays
- Extreme weather (hurricanes, snowstorms, floods)
- Carrier delays (high volume during holidays)
- Incorrect address provided
- Customs delays (international orders)
- Natural disasters
- Carrier mechanical issues
- Address verification issues
We are not responsible for carrier delays beyond our control.
Holiday Shipping Delays
Peak shipping periods:
- Black Friday through Christmas (late November - December)
- Back-to-school season (August)
During peak times:
- Add 1-3 extra days to standard delivery estimates
- Order early to ensure timely delivery
- Consider Priority or Express shipping for guaranteed faster delivery
Christmas 2024 Pre-Orders: All USA pre-orders placed before December 10, 2024 are guaranteed to arrive before December 25, 2024. See our Christmas Guarantee below.
10. Christmas Delivery Guarantee (Seasonal)
For Pre-Orders Placed Before December 10, 2024:
✅ Guaranteed arrival before December 25, 2024 (USA addresses only)
Timeline:
- Launch: December 12, 2024
- Ships: December 12-13, 2024
- Arrives: December 18-20, 2024
Our Guarantee: If your pre-order (placed before December 10) does not arrive by December 24, 2024, we will refund your shipping cost—no questions asked.
To claim: Email Contact@safekidspath.com with your order number and tracking showing delivery after December 24.
Exclusions:
- Incorrect address provided by customer
- Customer refused delivery
- International orders (7-14 day delivery time)
- Orders placed after December 10, 2024
11. Shipping Restrictions
We Cannot Ship To:
- P.O. Boxes in US territories (for Express shipping only)
- Countries not listed in our international shipping section
- Freight forwarders or package forwarding services
- Military bases outside APO/FPO addresses
Prohibited Items (if we expand product line)
We currently ship only books and educational materials, which are unrestricted. No hazardous or prohibited materials.
12. Package Contents
Discreet Packaging
Packages are shipped in plain cardboard boxes with no product descriptions on the outside.
Exterior labeling shows:
- Your shipping address
- Our return address ("Safe Kids Path")
- Shipping label
Exterior labeling does NOT show:
- Product names
- "Body Safety Books"
- Any imagery from the books
Inside the package: Your box set arrives in its premium magnetic box, wrapped in protective packaging.
Packing Materials
We use:
- Recyclable cardboard boxes
- Biodegradable packing peanuts or paper fill
- Bubble wrap (recyclable, when needed)
- Minimal plastic
We're committed to eco-friendly packaging.
13. Shipping Charges & Billing
When Are Shipping Charges Applied?
- Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your selected shipping method
- Shipping cost is included in your order total
- You are charged for shipping when you place your order (or when pre-order ships)
Sales Tax
Sales tax is calculated separately from shipping and is based on your shipping address and applicable state/local laws.
Refunds of Shipping Costs
- If we send wrong item: Full refund of shipping
- If item arrives damaged: Full refund of shipping (or free replacement shipping)
- If you return for any other reason: Standard shipping refunded; expedited shipping upgrades NOT refunded
